I'm a Professor at Department of Astronomy of Tsinghua University. My research has been focused on the structure, formation and evolution of galaxies, and the large-scale structure of the Universe. I use data from both observational experiments (particularly SDSS-IV and Subaru/PFS) and numerical simulations to understand the physical link of different classes of galaxies with the hosting dark matter halos. I've been teaching “Observational Astrophysics” “Galactic Physics” for graduate students at DoA, and “Observational Cosmology - From the Solar System to the Distant Universe”, a general education course for undergraduate students at Tsinghua.
