I completed my studies at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where I obtained bachelor degree (2000) and PhD (2006). I was a postdoc, firstly at Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO, 2007) and then at Max-Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA, 2008-2010), before I came back to SHAO (Sept. 2010) together with my family, as a leading research professor through the support of the 100-talent program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). In September 2015 I moved to my current position, a full professor at the Physics Department of Tsinghua University.
