I'm a Tenure-track Associate Professor in the Department of Astronomy at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. 最新进展 What's new
Using radial velocity measurements, we confirm that one of the previously identified KH 15d-like candidates, Bernhard-2, indeed contains an eccentric binary. This work is led by Zhecheng Hu and Wei Zhu. Check out a short news article and our paper for more details.
Tsinghua PDS mini-workshop 2024 held successfully. For this mini-workshop, we had two excellent talks given by Dr. Sam Hadden from University of Toronto and Prof. Kento Masuda from Osaka University.
Using data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), we were able to constrain the shape and spin rate of an extremely low-density planet (one of the so-called super-puffs), Kepler-51d. This planet spins very slowly, with a "day" on this planet longer than two days on Earth! Check out this short news article and the paper for more details.
