2021-2022学年秋季学期《理论天体物理专题》(Astro Student Seminar, 2021 Fall)

课程形式和目标：

通过学生作学术报告的形式，锻炼学生的阅读表达能力，培养学生的批判性思维（critical thinking），发掘学生的自主研究兴趣，增进学生对天文相关领域前沿研究的了解。

面向对象：

a) 天文系和其他院系的天文相关专业的研究生；

b) 对天文感兴趣的高年级本科生。

（本课程实际参与人数要显著多于系统选课人数。）

论文选题要求：

学生类型	对所选论文的要求
二年级及以上研究生	原则上要求非本领域的（见备注），2020年至今的论文
一年级研究生，本科生	2020年至今的论文，研究方向不作要求

（备注：如有较好理由且经任课教师同意，可选同一研究领域的论文。）

报告要求：

a) 报告语言为英文；问答环节可用中文；

b) 报告+问题总时长20分钟（15+5）；

c) 结构分明：充分介绍相关研究背景（不少于5分钟），突出结论（Take-home message），要有summary slide；

d) 最好能讨论一下论文的缺点或不足之处（可以寻求相关方面同学和老师的意见）;

e) A list (3-5) of questions you would ask as an audience.

关键时间节点：

a) 确定报告文章并发给我：报告前周周四（或之前）

b) 确定报告pdf并发给我：报告当周周四（或之前）

c) 报告时长：总长20分钟（报告+问题）

d) （可选）面对面讨论：每周三上午11-12点（请提前与任课教师确认）或其他约定的时间

e) 任课教师公布本周报告并预报下周报告：每周五上午（或之前）
